This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. This page explains the little data that is still processed.

1. Controller

Responsible for this website under the GDPR is the person named in the legal notice: Kai C. Betz, pcmciakai(at)etik.com.

2. Hosting

The website runs on a server rented from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Oracle Corporation) in the Frankfurt, Germany region. Oracle processes data only on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

3. Server access

When you open a page, your browser sends technically necessary data to the server: your IP address, the date and time, the requested address, the response status and your browser's user agent. This is needed to deliver the page and keep the server secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest).

Access logs are not stored.

4. Cookies and local storage

The website sets no cookies. If you switch between light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the page remembers it. It never leaves your device and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings (§ 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG/TDDDG).

5. No third-party services

Fonts, images and scripts are all served from this server. There are no analytics, ads, social media plugins or embedded content.

6. External links

Links to GitHub, Google Play, F-Droid and Ko-fi only take you to those sites when you click them. From then on, their privacy policies apply.

7. The app

The Arithmeticus Calculator app has no network access and collects no data. See the app's privacy policy.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To exercise them, write to the email address above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
